Long ago the infamous wacko known as “bsregistration” in the YouTube world posted an absurd video claiming that I have “Ignored the evidence of exotic weaponry used on 9/11“. The title alone can cause violent spasms in the neck. Needless to say, a thorough debunking video was posted by me as a response. Though my video does contain a factual error- it remains as a testament to science and discovery of the facts. Immediately after I posted my video response, I was- of course- blocked by bsregistration. Seeing as he claims that the attacks on 9/11 were perpetrated by the US Government using a death ray from outer space, a discussion of the facts is not something he’s interested in. (He also believes that the live video feeds were faked and that all the witnesses to the plane impacts were tricked by massive hypnosis- he’s grade-A nutty). Although he did leave my video up as a response to his nonsense- he employed the help of another nutter to help him get some stats.
Instead of linking to the bsregistration version of the video- an accomplice by the name of Coffinman (also Coffinman2 on YouTube) made a copy of the video and began linkbombing that video across the web. In various blogs, websites, video search engines- everything would point to the Coffinman version of the video. The number of hits quickly rose well above 200,000- but only a small portion of those viewers searched for my response as it was not linked to that video. At first I considered moving- or even duplicating- my response and attaching it to the Coffinman video, but I decided that I would not play their game. Several experts assured me that Google would eventually catch on to the scam and the page ranks would drop… but they didn’t.
Needless to say, the linkbombing served only to improve the visits to the video. Almost the entire first page of Google results for my moniker were various versions and mentions of the Coffinman “Totovader ignores the evidence” video. I started to notice this as I was doing more follow-ups to that first response and you can see some of the linkbombing that I captured in that video.
It even got to the point where Judy Wood’s website (since she is the “leading expert” on death rays from outer space) provided a link to the video (seen here) which visitors could only conclude has no response. That’s particularly troubling since Wood, herself, uses the photographs of Ladder 3 to “prove” a death ray from outer space- a claim which was debunked in my response video.
Today, for some reason, the video was removed- by the user. I can only assume that some members of the “Truth Movement” are starting to realize how stupid they look and they’re cleaning up a bit- but the sudden retraction of the video has left broken links in abundance (including on Judy Wood’s site) that I can only hope get replaced with the video that has my response. If not- we already see how honest the “truthers” are, so I would not be surprised.
Finally- though- after about 8 months of infestation, my name is starting to look a bit better in Google.
